Glorious Gardens "It's May Day"

                                                           "Adorable Miniature Garden"
Visiting Sperling Nursery in Calabasas, I was enchanted
by the mini gardens they create and sell there. I mentioned
this to my Mom, as I wanted to make one for her for
Mother's Day. "Well"  she said " I have all the things
you need to make one of those.." and sure enough she did.
All I had to get were the cute plants !  So here it is complete, and
ready to deliver to her on Mother's Day. (of course I already
                                           showed her this picture !)

Close up, of the tiny bridge, small
                                                    rake, wheelbarrow and clay pots.

Arbor and bird bath, there is a
tiny iron bench for two under the arbor !

                                                    Miss Ginger, actual size !!!

This is at my Mom's home, she has the
the most amazing rose vine and flowers. The
                                                 Lady has a green thumb.....

Grandma Judie's rose vine and shed.
(My mom asked me why my photo's are
on an angle, "I see the world a little bit
                                                        tilted I said.")

My Great Grandma Lona Mom, used to tell
me,"when things aren't going right, or you aren't
feeling well...go outside and dig in your garden,
everything will be better after that".
                                                                            She was right.

Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory,
Lord of love:  Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee,
Opening to the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and
sadness, Drive the dark of doubt away: Giver of
immortal gladness, Fill us with the light of day.

All they works with joy surround Thee, Earth and
heaven reflect Thy rays, stars and angels sing around
Thee, center of unbroken praise. Field and forest, vale
and mountain, flowery meadow, flashing sea, Chanting
bird and flowing fountain, Call us to rejoice in Thee.

                                                         Verses from my favorite hymn.
                                                       "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee"
                                                             Text: Henry van Dyke
Music: Ludwig van Beethoven: melody from
                                                                         Ninth Symphony.

                                                                     Have a  Blessed Day,
                                                                                  Amy
